WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
Below are the basic responsibilities for this role. There will be plenty of room for the role to take on additional responsibilities depending on what your strengths and interests are. We prefer to mold the role to the human being fulfilling it, not the other way around.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
Drive design initiatives and projects - both feature work/production design and blue-sky visionary design
Help drive product strategy. Your work won’t always be pushing pixels in Figma. We want a strong designer to partner with product and engineering to help map out the direction of our platform
Help evolve our design system by contributing new components and patterns
Work with other designers to contribute to the design culture, provide feedback across projects, and continuously broaden your understanding of the product and business
WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?
7+ years of Product Design or UX experience working on digital products, preferably SaaS
A strong understanding of user-centered design and best practices in user experience, interaction, visual design
Experience working closely with UX Researchers and using research insights to improve user experience
Strong collaboration skills and relationship building with product and engineering partners
A love for feedback and eagerness to share design iterations with stakeholders and peers
Ability to tell a story when sharing design work, providing helpful context that makes it easy for others to follow
Experience working with and contributing to design systems
